1. The replying to see links. I assumed that anyone would understand why this is necessary. A. An uploader spends 2-120 minutes uploading stuff whether it be music, music videos, movies, tv series, dramas, and etc.. A downloader downloads in 1 seconds to 20 minutes at the worst an hour. No one is forcing the uploaders to upload anything for us at all. However, as a courtesy it is nice to at least thank them for spending their time to help us and provide the media for us. Do you know how discouraging it is to spend an hour uploading something and then see that 100 people downloaded the file, but not get one thank you? You can argue and say that it's their choice so they shouldn't expect anything in return. I guess to some extent this point is valid, but remember even the nicest person wants to feel appreciated. The principle is, "There is no such thing as a free lunch." All we ask is that members spend a few seconds to thank someone who spent an hour sharing.
B. Security. Do you know how many forums have been shut down and reported for media downloads? Although the reply to see links is not the securest way to prevent that it help prevents the surface wipe of these trackers and so forth. If someone from a certain company were to find their stuff on the forum and report it then the link would have to be removed. More then likely no one will create a thread to reply and see the link from these companies. However if the reply to see isn't available they would see it right away. I guess you are more concerned with receiving and completely disregarded this factor.
2. Donations. lina said up there donations are not mandatory. They are for those who wish to donate to the community to help our administrators with costs. As a small thank you to those Donators they are able to see special sections with special types of downloads. I think this is the least we can do to repay those who help donate to keep the community up for anyone. Without those people that help donate then the forum wouldn't be around now would it? (Well actually Sashi and DreamMaker will still pay this fee) but the advertisements and donations help keep the dollar sign leaving their pockets at a low number. I know it is their website and their responsibility and I won't argue that, but the moment we make a post or download our first file we are part of the community. We have a small portion of this responsibility to share. We can help make the forum more desirable by not spaming, by not flaming, and etc. Then there are some who donate to help with costs. The fact that the forum has been around this long with stuff still available for us to download is amazing enough as it is. The least we could do is appreciate it. Your comment and vulgar language is the type of stuff that discourages the admins. They may get alot of support and encouragement from others already, but the fact that you had to resort to insulting them is not even low, but completely ignorant. I don't want to insult you, but you should really watch what you say. When you insulted the admins with that you basically insulted a majority of the community. As an uploader I consented to the reply option when I began using it so the fact that you said that was an insult to me also. It shows you don't understand where the donations money are going to. The donation money is going to KEEP UP THIS SERVER AND WEBSITE. If you like I can supply you with information on the average price of a community this size and traffic ;].
Excuse my mistakes and what not. Excuse me if I kind of looped and repeated. I am running on little sleep, but I really had to speak my mind when I saw this topic or else I'd forget later.

Sorry for the late late response, but the link for that thread has been updated
VioletRose you know how you are about to log into the forum. There is an option that says "Log In As Invisible" that is how you do that I believe, but you would have to check that button every time you are logging in. You must login using the log in window though and not the quick log in if that makes any sense.
Interested in seeing what file sharing you used was thinking about uploading some western stuff too ^.^
